Career
George began working in the Circuit Court Clerk's office as a deputy clerk in 2001, appointed by the late Hoppy Davenport, after nine years as a teller at First American Bank (1992-2001); she has served as Chief Deputy Clerk since 2010 2. Announcing her 2018 candidacy for the office, she said: "With a total of 17 years of service, I am the most qualified candidate for Circuit Court Clerk," describing herself as "fiscally conservative" and stating that "the Circuit Court Clerk's first responsibility is to serve you" 2.
