Ferlin "Clay" Morgan is an Independent candidate for one of three Campbell County Commission District 5 seats on the August 6, 2026 general-election ballot, one of six candidates competing for the seats after none of the three sitting District 5 commissioners sought re-election 12. The other candidates are independents Suzette Davenport, Ralph Davis, Dwight E. Osborn, and Katrena Powers Reynolds, and Republican Pauline Walden Roberts, who ran unopposed in the May 2026 Republican primary with 588 votes 12.
