His colleagues unanimously elected him as Chairman in 2020. Additionally, he chaired the prestigious Budget and Finance Committee for three years.\n\u200b\nA City of Memphis employee for 30 years, Clerk Jones was an officer with the Memphis Police Department for 15 years, eight of those with the elite TACT Unit.
