Bryan E. Delius is the incumbent Republican Sevier County Commissioner for District 10, Seat A, and is unopposed in the Republican primary for re-election 14. He describes himself as an elected member of the Sevier County legislative body 2.

Background and education

Delius was born and raised in Sevier County and has lived there his entire life 2. He earned a bachelor's degree in agriculture (cum laude) and a law degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville 2.

Career

Delius was admitted to the Tennessee bar in 1993 and founded the Sevierville law firm now known as Delius, McKenzie & McCarter more than 30 years ago; his practice areas include criminal defense, personal injury, DUI defense, civil litigation, and appellate law 23. He has served on the boards of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (1996-1998) and the Federal Defenders Association of East Tennessee (2002-2007), and belongs to the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Knoxville Bar Association, and the Sevier County Bar Association 2.
