Rick Storey is the incumbent Washington County Trustee, on the Republican ballot for reelection in the Aug. 6, 2026 general election 1.
Career
Before serving as Trustee, Storey worked in banking in the Tri-Cities region, including as a lender at The Banking & Trust Co. (now First Tennessee Bank) and Hamilton Bank, and as vice president and Tri-Cities regional executive of Sovran Bank (now Bank of America) 2.
Office history
Storey previously served on the Washington County Commission before being sworn in as Trustee around September 2018 23. As Trustee, he has been recognized by the University of Tennessee's County Technical Assistance Service and worked with the cashVest program to modernize the county's investment of public funds 4.
