Currently in her sixth term, Alderman Fraser has served as Vice Mayor since 2006. Mrs. Fraser and her family became residents of Collierville in 1995 and, as most parents do, she immediately became an active member of the community through the PTA at her children's schools.
She is now serving as Alderman Liaison to the Parks Advisory Board, Tourism Advisory Board, and Main Street Collierville. A member of the Collierville Chamber of Commerce, she has been a board member of Main Street Collierville, Leadership Collierville, Friends of the Morton Museum of Collierville History, Collierville Schools Facility Planning Committee, Collierville Schools “Portrait of a Graduate” Initiative, and previously served on the Design Review Commission and Planning Commission.
Mrs. Fraser is a charter member of the Collierville Library Board, and has worked with the Comprehensive Plan Committee, Collierville Education Foundation, Collierville Elementary PTA and Collierville High School PTSA Board of Managers, Girl Scout Leader, and as a Recreational Basketball and Volleyball Coach. A recipient of many community and professional recognition awards, she was most recently recognized as the Collierville Chamber of Commerce’s “2019 Collierville Person of the Year.”
Mrs. Fraser received the H. R. Houston Leadership Award in 2013, “Spirit of Giving” from Main Street Collierville in 2012, the 2002 recipient of the C.H. Harrell Education Foundation Award, and 2002 Collierville Volunteer of the Year. Mrs. Fraser is an Affiliate Broker and Marketing & Promotions Manager with John Green and Company REALTORS. She is a lifetime member of the Memphis Area Association of Realtors' Multi-Million Dollar Club, and in 2020, received the MAAR “Outstanding Leadership Award.”
She and her husband David live, and are very active, in Collierville's Rosewood Plantation and parents of three Collierville Schools graduates: Brittany earned Neuroscience bachelors and masters degrees from Tulane University, M.D. from UTHSC College of Medicine, and is currently completing her General Surgery Residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock; Andrew, a 2017 Agribusiness: Food Marketing graduate of Purdue University, his parents alma mater, resides in Collierville Farms, working as a Foodservice National Accounts Representative for Stratas Foods in Memphis; and Abby, who graduated in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina in 2018, now in her third year, teaching second grade at Chapin Elementary School, Chapin, SC. The Frasers are active members of the Catholic Church of the Incarnation.
