Johnathan Dunn

Jonathan Dunn has been a resident in Arlington for nearly 20 years and, along with his wife, Melissa, has four of his five children currently attending ACS, with their oldest having graduated from Arlington High School in 2021. He holds a B.S. degree in leadership from Union University, education in Biblical Studies and Theology from Liberty University, with certifications in Six Sigma (Black Belt), Lean Sigma, and is a Stewards of Children: Darkness to Light certified trainer. He is also trained as a Brain Health Coach through Amen Clinic.

For more than a decade, Jonathan worked in the corporate sector in roles as a senior manager and director at American Home Shield, leading projects and teams to elevate the organization’s overall customer experience.

Since founding River City Church in 2008, he believes his current role as lead pastor, along with his previous experience in the business world, has helped shape his leadership acumen and given him a fresh perspective on what it takes to support the administrators, teachers, and parents leading this next generation. Jonathan wants what’s best for the future of Arlington, and he knows it begins with the schools in this great community.
