Thomas E. Davis is a Republican candidate for Tennessee's 4th Congressional District in the 2026 primary, challenging incumbent Congressman Scott DesJarlais of Sherwood.
Davis served on active duty in the U.S. Army from 1989 until he retired in 2014, a career spanning 25 years.
In the Army, Davis served as a Motor Transport Operator and held positions including driver, training NCO, squad leader, drill sergeant, small group leader/instructor, observer/controller, and platoon sergeant. He deployed in support of Operations Desert Shield/Storm, Operation Joint Forge, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. After leaving the Army, he moved to Arizona and served as a peace officer. In 2017 he moved to Morrison, Tennessee, to be closer to his daughter.
He is married to Cindy Davis. They have four children and reside in Morrison, Tennessee.
