Bobbie Michelle Smith has served as one of Tipton County Commission District 6's two commissioners since 2022, when she and running mate James "Jimbo" Adkins defeated challenger Caleb Holt for the district's two seats 1. She is a Republican Party nominee for reelection to one of District 6's two seats in the August 6, 2026 general election, running alongside fellow nominee James "Jimbo" Adkins. District 6 elects two commissioners; with only Adkins and Smith running in the May 5, 2026 Republican primary for the two open seats, both advanced to the general election ballot (Adkins received 221 votes to Smith's 156) 23.
