Scott Curtis is a Republican candidate for the McMinn County Commission, District 5, on the August 6, 2026 county general-election ballot. District 5 elects two commissioners, and it is an uncontested race with two candidates for the two seats.12
Office history
Curtis currently serves as one of District 5's two members of the McMinn County Commission, representing part of the Athens area, and serves as chairman of the county commission.23 He advanced from the McMinn County Republican primary in May 2022, receiving 557 votes.4
