Monty Bullock is the incumbent Campbell County, Tennessee Trustee, running unopposed as an Independent in the Aug. 6, 2026 general election 1.
Career
Bullock has held the trustee's office for more than 30 years 2. He has completed 468 hours of County Officials Association of Tennessee training and is a Certified Public Administrator 2. He says the roughly $85 million a year that moves through the trustee's office has never had the state Comptroller's twice-yearly audits find "one cent out of place" 2.
Legislative record and accomplishments
Per his own account, Bullock's office has added Saturday hours, a partial-payment plan for current taxes, a tax-relief program for senior and disabled homeowners, a policy preventing bankruptcy filers' taxes from going to tax sale, early-payment discount incentives, and an investment program that has generated more than $7 million in county interest income 2.
