Cyndi Bryant is running for a full term representing Madison County Commission District 4, Position 1, in the August 6, 2026 general election. She was previously considered for appointment to the same District 4 seat by the Madison County Board of Commissioners in February 2025, to fill a vacancy left when then-Commissioner Bill Walls resigned after moving outside the district1. Board chairman Gary Deaton said at the time that Bryant "is very engaged in politics and has been for years"1.
