Emily Redd Hodges is the Republican nominee for Bedford County Assessor of Property in the August 6, 2026 county general election, having advanced from her party's May 5, 2026 primary 1. The seat is being filled for an unexpired term: longtime assessor Ronda Clanton, who held the office for about 30 years, announced her retirement and left office in December 2025, and the August 2026 election chooses an assessor to serve until September 2028, completing the remainder of Clanton's term 2.
