She also has a J.D. from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Chumney has a diverse career history, including being a bestselling author, a Shelby County Deputy Divorce Referee & Hearing Officer, an adjunct professor at the University of Memphis, and a former Tennessee State Representative. She has also been involved in various community organizations and has received numerous awards and recognition for her work.
