He and his wife Heather have been married since 2000 and have lived in Bartlett since 2007. They are active members of Bellevue Baptist Church, which they joined in 2003, where Robert has served as a leader of one of their hospitality ministries since 2005. \n\n \n\nBorn and raised in Memphis, Robert attended Central Baptist School from kindergarten through twelfth grade, and graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a B.S. in Broadcasting. Over nearly twenty-five years in marketing and advertising, Robert has worked for such local companies as WMC-FM100, archer>malmo and Memphis in May International Festival, but he is now the managing director of SmartCycle, an international firm specializing in business intelligence for the auto recycling industry.\n\n \n\nIn his spare time, Robert is a voracious reader, averaging more than eighty books per year; an active runner, having completed more than thirty half marathons and six full marathons; and a pretty good cook who started a side business in 2020 cooking weeknight meals for families from Bartlett to Collierville. \n\n \n\nIn his role as Alderman, Robert will serve on the Bartlett City Beautiful Commission and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.","firstname":"Robert","lastname":"Griffin","token":"7zyyApeMlK"},"term_end":"2026-12-01","term_start":"2022-12-01"}],"title":"Bartlett Alderman Position 2","type":"legislative","url":null,"whenchanged":"2026-04-25 19:49:19"}
