Alderman Reaves previously served as Shelby County Commissioner from 2014-2018 and on the Shelby County School Board from 2010-201. Alderman Reaves is a native of Shelby County, grew up in Memphis until his family relocated to Bartlett in 1985 Alderman Reaves graduated from Bartlett High School in 1994 and the University Memphis in 2000 with a bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Management Information Systems and Decision Sciences. \n\n \n\nAlderman Reaves is currently a Global Director for NIKE specializing in resilience of global logistics and manufacturing. He understands what it means to help set corporate priorities to help leadership track and fund solutions based upon limited resources with competing business objectives. He also understands the importance of being able to work with all levels of corporate leadership from the areas of Accounting, Human Resources, and Operations. Alderman Reaves is also co-owner of Side Porch Steakhouse in Bartlett. \n\n \n\nAlderman Reaves has been involved in the community over the past 20 years in multiple capacity. Some of his volunteer work has been: \n\nCoaching youth football and soccer \nStarting and running the Bartlett Youth Football organization \nStarting the Bartlett High Alumni association \nRunning the Bartlett High Touchdown Club \n \n\nAlderman Reaves has 3 children: Lauren Cady (21), Harrison (19), and Joshua (18), all who attended Bartlett City Schools.
