After graduating from the University of TN at Martin (Go Skyhawks!) I lived in New Orleans and Nashville before moving to Germantown.\n\nSteve and I met and married in Nashville, TN, and have lived in Germantown for 30 years. We have three sons who graduated from Germantown schools. Our oldest son graduated from Germantown High School in 2014, the United States Military Academy-West Point in 2018, and was married in 2019, giving us a wonderful daughter-in-law.  He is currently deployed with the US Army.  Our middle son graduated from Houston High School in 2016 and works in IT.  Our youngest son graduated from Houston High School in 2021 and is pursuing a criminal justice degree at the University of Memphis with the goal of working in federal law enforcement.  \n\n \n\nWe are grateful to live in this wonderful city.  Our three boys have been raised in a safe community with strong schools and countless opportunities. \n\n \n\nAlongside a career in medical sales, I have served and led our community in many ways:\n\n\u200b\n\nPresident of two neighborhood associations (Poplar Estates Neighborhood Association, various roles 1994-2009, and Dogwood Grove Homeowner\u2019s Association, multiple roles 2009-Current)\n\nLeadership Germantown, Class of 2000 \n\nDesign Review Commission, City of Germantown,  2001-2002\n\nPlanning Commission, City of Germantown, 2003-2007, 2018-Current\n\nPresident of Houston Middle School PTA (PTO). As a young girl, I spent much time with my grandmother, Muriel W. Pease, and saw how she brought her neighbors together in Astor, FL.  Astor had no gathering place for residents. She wanted a sense of community and a way to coordinate helping one another.  She and a small group of friends and neighbors met around her dining room table, and years later, the Muriel W. Pease Astor Community Association (ACA) was built. That building housed the first library in Astor and still stands as a community gathering place. \n\n \n\nI genuinely enjoy working with and learning from my neighbors. I look forward to meeting you, working with you, and learning from you during my time as Alderman.
