As a kid, his family delivered meals on wheels on Christmas, built homes with Habitat for Humanity and worked at the Mid-South Food Bank. These principles have continued into Brian\u2019s adult life, and they still impact his commitment to making his community better. \n\nBrian learned his first leadership lessons in the Scouting organization as a member of Troop 364 where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. His first jobs were mowing lawns and later washing dishes at the Brooklyn Bridge Restaurant. These experiences helped him reach his teenage goal of getting a car, but more importantly, they provided a tangible example of the benefit that comes from commitment and hard work. \n\nBrian graduated from Christian Brothers High School and the University of Tennessee (BS in Finance). He has an MBA from the University of Memphis and has worked as a corporate finance professional for over 17 years. \n\nBrian and his wife Beth have been best friends since they met over 13 years ago. They have identical twins enrolled in GMSD. As a father he is working hard to pass on the values of service and work ethic. The Ueleke\u2019s are members and actively involved at Germantown United Methodist Church. For over a decade Brian has been engaged in the church where he has served as a Youth Leader, Safety Team Member and Chair of the McVay Counseling Center.\n\nBrian is a graduate of Leadership Germantown class of 2019 and recipient of the Jim Roberts Leadership Award. He is an active member of the City of Germantown's Financial Advisory Commission where he assists in the annual budget cycles and has volunteered for sub committees related to the Germantown Country Club and Storm Water fund. As a concerned citizen he often attends BMA meetings & work sessions as well as other commission meetings. \n\nBrian believes in making Germantown a better place.
